There are two systems that control all physiologic processes, your endocrine system broadcasts it's hormonal messages to essentially every cell in your body by secretion into blood and extracellular fluid. You may see this in a similar way that you receive today's wifi or any wireless system like the old Am/ FM a radio broadcast. Basically you need some sort of receiver to get the "message". Your endocrine works like that in the sense that it sends messages into every cell in your body which the Lord designed with a receptor for the hormone being broadcast in order for it to be able to respond back.
You also have a nervous system that is designed to exerts point-to-point control through your nerves, which might be compared to how we used old wired telephone lines for conventional telephones to receive a message. (And the Wichita Lineman is still on the line....) Nervous control is electrical in nature and extremely fast. The nervous and endocrine systems often act together to regulate your physiology and yes, some neurons function as endocrine cells. The thing is, it is controlled by your thought life. So think about what you are thinking about and make sure it is a thought that aligns with the Holy Word of God.
1 Corinthians 2:16," For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ."
