Messianic Lite: Toldot, “Generations”

This week's parsha is Genesis 25:19 to 28:9

Before the Bible enters into a long episode about Jacob, I want to give Isaac his proper due. He is the most mysterious of the patriarchs. We know very little about Isaac compared to his father Abraham or his son Jacob. Besides chosenness, what do we really know about Isaac's character?

Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Can't Buy Me Love

"Entertaining the spirit of fear of the future depletes your joy and strength today." Pastor Caspar McCloud

In this world it really comes down to what captures your heart? There is an old saying that "money can't but me love" and as Simon the sorcerer discoverer, it can't buy you the gifts of the Holy Spirit either. However, a true love relationship with the Lord Jesus/Yeshua leads to the heart of Papa God and all His benefits. Psalm 103:2," Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;" True wisdom values what's valuable to the Lord and doing those things that please Him. Now there is nothing wrong with having things as long as things don't have you. We read in Hebrews 11:25," Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward." You see Moses had a revelation of the coming Messiah and looked forward to this day as did Abraham and so was able to overcome whatever hardships as we must do today. So what truly captures your heart? Is it the things of this world or the things of God? Stay in faith and keep looking up. All things are possible with God! I pray the Lord's supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
PASTOR CASPAR
